How Vx TV works
VxTv is brought to you via IPTV technology, and delivers great picture and sound quality. It works in exactly the same way as your current cable or satellite service, and you can use it via a remote control in exactly the same way. The only difference is the signal is delivered over the internet.
Vx TV can be accessed in two simple ways:
Via a set-top box to your TV
Via your computer
Accessing Vx TV via a set-top box for your TV
Step 1: Plug your Vx TV set-top box into your internet connection.
Step 2: Then connect your Vx TV set-top box to your television.
Step 3: Use your Vx TV remote control to watch all your favourite programmes live from Sri Lanka! There is no need to disconnect any current cable or satellite boxes – you can simply use your remote control to view both Vx TV and your normal channels!
Hardware requirement: a Vx TV set top box
Internet requirement: we recommend an ADSL/ADSL2 or Fiber to the Home (FTTH) connection with a throughput of at least 5 megabits per second (5Mbit/s) with unlimited download capacity.
Accessing Vx TV via your computer
Step 1: Go online.
Step 3: Enter your login name and password.
Step 4: Start enjoying your favourite programmes, live from Sri Lanka!
Software requirement:
Operating System : Windows XP or Vista
internet browser : Internet Explorer 6 or greater
Windows Media Player : 9 or greater
